Post Offices

Open monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm.
Village post offices close for lunch between 12.30 and 2.00pm.
Charges for letters and postcards to all EU countries are 56cents (under 20g)

Coin or card operated boxes or metered phones in post offices and shops displaying credifone signs.

Driving

Speed limits are 40kph in built up areas, 90kph on open roads and 120kph on motorways. Always carry your drivers licence. Seat belt must be worn front and back. no children under 13 years of age are allowed in the front.

Buses and trains

Buses and trains are fairly puctual and inexpensive. The train stations are mostly out of the towns. The stations that are reasonably close to towns are:
Lagos, Portimao, Silves, Almancil, Faro, Olhao, Tavira, Villa Real de St. Antonio
